December 2005

30th December 05

RVRA would like to inform residents that we do not support any of the information detailed in the News article dated Thursday 29th December 05.  Details in this article are incorrect.  As of 31st January 2006, the present cleaning company, White House Services Ltd are to be replaced starting on 1st February 2006.  Please do not worry, the Village will have cleaning staff in the New Year.  As for the Security issue, there will be no change to the Security aspect for the near future, again please do not worry the Security Staff will still be in place in the New Year and can be contacted on the number given on our contact page.

This kind of article does nothing to enhance the relations within the Village and anyone reporting any issues to any media should ensure that the issues raised are correct.  The 2006 Service Charge Demand has been raised in accordance with the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal rulings.

If you have any concerns and would like to discuss the matter further, please contact any RVRA Team Member in the usual manner.

RVRA have been assured that residents wishing to pay their Service Charge on a monthly basis, can do so with the proviso that these payments are in equal monthly instalments beginning in January 2006 with no default.

Unfortunately there have been additions to the Proposed 2006 Budget which RVRA published in November 05, these are due to inflation due to the delay in the refurbishment programme as a result of LVT action and also with the recent water pressure problems in Livingstone Court and Lawrence Walk.

Your 2006 Service Charge Demand, should be with you within the next couple of weeks.
