Keeping You Informed

Feb News 2005

February 2005

3rd February 2005

RVRA have received information with regards to the latest Court Case which was to take place next week.  It is as follows:

There were three applications before the court.

1.  To stay the proceedings against NHM (effectively bringing the case to an end because NHM will shortly be dissolved).

2.  To remove the penal notice.

3.  To seek a declaration that NHM had in fact complied with the June 2003 Court Order.

It would appear that there had been consent as regards to No 1 above on the condition that Mr Michael Baker Harber bore his own costs to date therefore both sides avoiding massive costs for the trial that was to be held next week.

Whilst the Penal Notice remains, it remains in proceedings that are now effectively 'dead'.

The above Court Case was set to commence next week but will now not take place.

RVRA have been requested to inform residents of the following information by our Estate Manager, Karen Killeen.

The memo reads as follows:

MEMO

To: Veronica Jessop RVRA

From: Karen Killeen Estate Manager Rowner Estates Ltd

Date: 04 February 2005

Subject: Up Date on Village Breaking News

Message:

1. General Cleaning and Ground Maintenance.

I have been monitoring the situation regarding the cleaning and grounds maintenance on the estate, and have been able to secure for one week only a further 80 hours labour cost. This will enable a total blitz and tidy up of the entire estate.

2. Rubbish Clearance.

The level of waste is once again of growing concern. We have yet again, reached melting point with regards to bins. There is a growing pile of large items removed from the Walkways and bin chute areas, caused by residents dumping their unwanted furniture and white goods. This will also be address next week, as I have had permission to order a large RORO skip by Labyrinth. (This rubbish has to be addressed.)

3. Security Keys.

This time of year sees a high turnover in Tenants. And the demand for additional keys is increasing. As a result, I have been given the go ahead to order a small supply.

4. The News.

On Thursday 3
rd February, a photographer from this publication attended on site. Obviously a press release is imminent. Unfortunately Labyrinth has advised me not to comment.

Therefore, I would like it to be known that all the above items had already been put in motion, prior to the impending newspaper article.

Thank you

Karen Killeen
