JANUARY 2006

Water Pump

RVRA have requested that the charge for the proposed Water Pump be removed from the 2006 Service Charge Demand—£20,000.00.  Labyrinth Properties Ltd have agreed to this request and new Service Charge Demands will be issued to residents shortly.

Labyrinth Properties Ltd

We have also requested that Labyrinth Properties Ltd issue letters to residents introducing the Property Manager, Mrs Katherine Bury.  Kathy will be dealing with any issues regarding the Village.  Residents will also receive letters introducing the new on site Cleaning Contractor, Facility Estate Management.  RVRA can confirm that two of our ‘old’ cleaning staff remain, Cliff and Rob who will be accompanied by Eric.

We can also confirm that White House Services will only remain to complete any painting projects not yet completed.

Security

RVRA have been informed that the Security hours have been reduced by 16 man hours per week.  We have contested this reduction and suggested alternative hours.  We are also aware that a new Security Contract has been allocated to the current on site Security Company, Independent Estate Security Ltd.

RVRA have challenged Labyrinth Properties Ltd, because there has been no consultation with residents.  Labyrinth Properties Ltd have advised that the contract is for less than 12 months and therefore no consultation period was necessary……..

RVRA have suggested to Labyrinth Properties Ltd, that an investigation should be undertaken with the Security Management with regards to a number of issues being brought into force in March 06.

RVRA have also discussed the erection of CCTV to enhance the security of the Village.

Anyone wishing to discuss any of the above matters further, please contact RVRA in the usual manner.
