Keeping You Informed

January News 2007

JANUARY 2007

30th January 2007

Today RVRA Team Members met with Steve Wilding of Labyrinth Properties and Mark Quainton-Davis the on site Security Managing Director to discuss the updates from our previous meeting in November 2006.  Together we are striving to better the Village for all residents.

Accounts

We have been informed that 2005 accounts will finalised by the end of February 2007.

Lease

We have made certain enquiries with regards to the change of ownership of the Freehold (this was undertaken some time ago) and Steve said he would check the Head Lease and inform us when he has made his checks.

Roofs

We have been informed that a Roof Survey has been undertaken with a view to the roofs being renewed as soon as possible, funds permitting.

Service Charge Fund

Although not exact, it is thought that the End Of Financial Year status of the Service Charge Fund is £420,000.00 in arrears, but this will be clarified by LPL.

Dumped Rubbish

It has been reported that residents are still dumping furniture and other goods around the estate.  Those residents who are seen dumping non-domestic rubbish around the estate will be reported to LPL with a view to being billed to have the rubbish removed, this includes building materials etc.  If you have any large heavy items which need to be disposed of, please contact either of the on site Cleaners, Kim or Cliff and they will arrange for these items to be disposed of appropriately.

Paving

We have been informed that the uneven paving around the estate will gradually be attended to.  The more severe of the paving has already began in Darwin Way and, funds permitting, works will be carried out on the remainder of the estate.

VRA

We have had a vast amount of enquiries regarding the status of the VRA.  At present we can only inform residents that we have attempted to contact the Secretary of the VRA enquiring as to the status of the Association but as yet, like a number of residents, we have received no reply.

If you have any further enquiries regarding the Village, please do not hesitate to contact any RVRA Team Member via our Contacts page.
