Unfortunately the Procession for the Gosport Carnival has at the eleventh hour been cancelled.  The actual Carnival itself will still go ahead at Walpole Park Gosport.

 

The ’policing’ of the Procession being cancelled has been a sore point for some time.  Unfortunately decisions have been made and it was agreed that although the local community had offered their help, the Procession itself should be cancelled.

Please remember that the RRP have a drop in session on Thursday 26th June 2008 in the evening at Siskin Junior School and on Saturday 28th June 2008 in the morning at The Youthy, Nimrod Drive.

Residents appear to be under the impression that the Gosport Carnival has been cancelled.

 

RVRA would like to inform residents that the Carnival Parade can now go ahead next week thanks to the local community who have donated their help.
