Information on the Renewing Rowner Community Design Weekend is now available below. Residents will shortly be receiving the leaflet through your door if you haven’t already.
Following the neighbourhood workshops held on 24 and 25 October in St Mary’s Church Hall and The Youthy, there will be a two day Community Design Weekend on 23 and 24 November in the Nimrod Community Centre. The event will enable local residents and stakeholders to bring together ideas generated during the two neighbourhood workshops and begin to develop plans for the regeneration of Rowner.
The Community Design Weekend is a key stage in the development of proposals for the redevelopment area and an opportunity for everyone with an interest in Rowner to have their say.
The weekend will be facilitated by John Thompson and Partners (JTP), architects, urban designers and community planners, on behalf of the Rowner Renewal Partnership. The programme for the weekend is structured so that people can attend for a short while or for longer according to their interest.
The workshops and hands on planning groups will be tailored to both young people and adults. Team members and representatives from the Rowner Renewal Partnership will be on hand to explain what’s happening and answer any questions you may have.
